I believe the original idea for 3 was that Stu was somehow alive and controlling/influencing the killer/s from prison but that got axed.

Eh. This is one of my favorite franchises but it should probably just end with Scream 6. None of the previous cast members in it…and now we’re relying on an aging Gale and Sydney to carry this? What story is there left to tell besides bringing Stu back, which they’re not.

This is my concern as well. Despite my problems with 6 you still had some fresh stories to go with involving the two sisters now because of corporate arrogance you tell off Melisa and lose your biggest name and your future.
