Doesn't make much sense. Usually articles of incorporation have provisions in them that requires notice to all board members for a meeting, even emergency meetings. Richard and Erlich should have known about the meeting. Also, there is usually a provision in closely held corporations that notice must be given before any shares are to be sold.

Their lawyer kind of sucks.

And by "their" you mean the writing teams consulting lawyer.

It was awesome to see them get up to over 200k viewers on their livefeed. That will have benefits to season 3 for sure.

After reading through everyone's comments I have to say I am okay with Richard losing his CEO position. They can bring in another character who is more business savvy and allow Richard to have a more vital tech role. It's not like they can steal is shares so he still has some power.

I'm sure we will still have a cameo or two from Mr 3 commas but I'm kinda happy to see him go. He was a ticking time bomb of bad juju that continuously led Pied Piper down the shitter.

I'll rewatch the episode and see how I feel about it. It was a negative day after the LSU loss and the GoT bullshite. I think it was probably the 3rd best episode of the season, but a bit of a miss for a finale.

Such an entertaining show for only 30 minutes.

I never enjoyed Russ (I know many on the board love him) so I am not upset with him parting.

The episode was very solid...I chuckled at the house being on fire and no one caring because they had live streamed the entire rescue.

I also find the woman that replaced Peter G. to have an odd sense of humor...so strange and logical that she is good for a line or two a show.

She's very Spock like for any trekkies on here.I like her. It's a different kind of awkward than any other we see on this show. I think she is a solid and meaningful character.

This really, really pissed me off while watching. It was just completely absurd, and you knew he was going to stop them in time.

I think they went overboard with that. It like they made Richard into Mr. Bean or Frank Drebin.

The lose-lose-lose-win is just absurd. It wasn't that bad last season. There has to be a payoff every now & then that gives the audience a chance to breathe. Otherwise, what's the point of getting excited when they 'win' when you know their moments away from losing again? Its like we're watching a season of 24 where Jack dismantles a bomb, shoots, the bad guy, and we figure out there is really another bad guy. It just gets old after a while.

Last season had fun moments and then total triumph at the end.

This season has just been constant defeat after defeat after defeat. When they win, they lose.

I'm done with that. I want wins.

The sequences after the judge's ruling were way too contrived. Even having Richard lose his CEO position is difficult to accept. A major portion of Pied Piper is sold without anyone at Pied Piper being made aware. Two new board members are seated without anyone at Pied Piper being made aware. A vote is taken to remove Richard without anyone at Pied Piper being made aware.

And it's all done in one afternoon?

me too! I loved his character.

I try not to look for plot holes in this show like yall tend to do with every episode. Yall should know by now that this show is alot like Newtons 3rd law of motion. For every good thing that happens, something bad will surely follow. It's meant to be comical and not a serious drama. They writers cant have everything make perfect sense in 1 30 minute show.

Here's my theory: Gavin Belson will get bounced by Hooli. He will be brought in as Pied Piper's CEO, because he understands the system and he knows how to run a business. Richard isn't going anywhere, I mean he developed the software and he owns a chunk of the company. So the humor in the next season will come from Gavin and Richard, Gilfoyle, Dinesh, Erlich and Jared all trying to work together.

Jared is quickly becoming my favorite character. The servers are on fire and he's screaming "Should we do a SWOT Analysis?"

"Do you want to do a verbal SWOT analysis" -Jared, most subtle line of the whole episode when the server was on fire.

Mike Judge is awesome, but this is too much manufactured drama. Do they even try to gauge their viewers reactions I wonder?

I thought the whole thing with the lemons for the beer and the constant delay before delting PP was an overt breaking of the 4th wall to acknowledge the viewers' complaints on this sort of thing.

Yeah, I just want to clarify...all that Richard lost was CEO status, right? He is still the dominant owner, yes?

I hope this doesn't happen next season, but this is a classic case for an attorney to go in and arse rape the investor for minority shareholder oppression in a closely held corporation. Unless they are a Delaware corporation in which case Richard is fricked.
