Hell, that part made more sense than the rest in that scene. I get what they were trying to do with having a musician so good that they can transcend past, present, and future. It could have just been done in such a better way and took you so far out of the movie, especially the future stuff. If they wanted to hint to that, should have just had the wail of an electric guitar pierce through and hit a couple R&B beats, but leave that at just auditory clues. More subtelty would have worked there.

I didn't hate the movie though. Was a little slow in the middle, but gorgeously shot movie and acting I thought was very solid throughout.

It was very enjoyable for roughly the first half. It eventually went over the top
and was a little chaotic. That said, there are some interesting and enjoyable characters involved.
Be sure to watch the end credits all the way through, plus…
