Nothing played by Jared Leto is going to be hyper-masculine to begin with, let alone to 'toxic' levels.

Even if you liked Blade Runner 2049 (I thought it was okay), you had to see he was the worst thing about it.
2049 was fricking awesome and Leto was fine in it. But I agree he hasn’t exactly been on a good run lately. He isn’t much of a leading man. His roles are usually better in support.
But he crushed Requiem and Dallas Buyers

Any storyline where Decker isn’t human is trash.

What has he done since Dallas Buyer's Club that he was good in?
I'm not sure he was doing all that much acting in DBC anyway

To these fools, being a strong man equals toxic masculinity. They're giving Adam a sassy black sidekick, so I guess inserting more political messaging was inevitable. Keldor (Skeletor) was KIng Rador's evil power-hungry brother. I assume they're going this route with his backstory.

Good, burn it all to the ground.

Not a He-Man expert but, doesn’t this kind if fit the character of Skeletor?

He is a general ultimate power megalomaniac
Think Cobra Commander, Megatron, old school Lex Luthor, etc.

I, for one, think Leto is a good actor
I hear he is a really nice dude, too
I think he just punches out of his weight class, with respect to his ability and capability as an actor.
He is not a leading man

Perfect response. I know he'll lose, but I still love Skeletor.

2049 does not say Deckard is a replicant, so what’s your point?

I gotta step in here. Bladerunner 2049 did everything to give homage to the first film. Its also worth a watch for cinematography alone

Skeletor is considered the hero?

You’re telling me it’s not implied?

I didn’t get that at all.

He has the “perpetually on psychedelics” appearance.
