Here's what I'd like to see: Mace Windu takes Ahsoka under his wing as his new apprentice after Anakin is expelled from the Jedi Order. Palpatine tips Mace off to Darth Maul's location, and Palpatine also tells Anakin where to find him. The three meet up and Anakin attacks Windu as well planning on blaming Maul for Windu's death. They have a 3 way duel, with Anakin being the ultimate victor. As he kills Windu, Anakin hears another lightsaber in the background, and it is Ahsoka. Anakin can't bring himself to kill her, so she flees and warns the other Jedi. She is eventually directly killed by Palpatine in front of Anakin when she and some other Jedi go to face off with him. Anakin then swears revenge on the Emperor for it, but is now forced to hunt down the remaining Jedi to save his own skin.

I would literally start from scratch. I'v often thought about how I'd craft the plot using only Episodes IV, V, VI as cannon. Here a few rules I've come up with that directly contradict the events of Episodes I, II, and III:

(1) The Jedi operate out of the limelight. In ANH, Obi Wan states that there were "10,000 jedi knights" during the Clone Wars. While that seems like a high number at first glance, it's actually incredibly small given the vast size and population of the galaxy. ANH takes place only two plus decades after Episode III, yet very few people know of the Jedi. This is probably the biggest continuity problem with the Prequels. The Jedi do not operate on Coruscant and do not pick sides during the Clone Wars. They are a myth, a legend, a rumor. In some sectors, they're treated as a fable you tell children. In others, they are treated like deities that you believe in but can't prove. While many people have heard of the idea of Jedi, most believe them to be a tall tale.

2. The Clone Wars involve actual people. I despise the plot device of droids versus clones in the Prequels. There is nothing real at stake. The Clones from the Clone Wars are the military of the force opposing the Republic (probably something like the Confederation of Independent Systems). Prior to the War, the leader of the Confederation began cloning a species to provide bodies for his military. The Republic military is comprised of actual people . . . which brings me to my next rule . . .

3. There is no unified military of the Republic. The Republic is simply the central political entity of various systems. Each of these systems provides its own military in defense of the Republic (think the U.S. under the Articles of Confederation.) For instance, the system of Alderaan would have its own Naval forces (under the control of a Young Admiral who also happens to heir to the throne of Alderaan - Bail Organa.) Throughout the story, different systems would be defeated, enslaved, or crossover to the Confederation.

I have a bunch more. That's just a start.

Anything - ANYTHING - is possible re: prequels/sequels/reboots/spinoffs. Nothing is off-limits.

2 things:

-Get rid of JarJar motherfricking Binks.

-to properly tell the story of what happened before ANH, it would need to be done as an HBOesque series with 50-70 minute long episodes. Tell the story over a span of 6 or 7 seasons, it leaves so much room for critical details, ACTUAL character development and plotlines that were left out of the prequels.

It would also leave room for spinoffs. Hell, i'd love to see an entire story/series about when the Sith Empire was a thing. I'd love to see Korriban and get a glimpse of the Sith Lords. Would also be awesome to seea series about the Gray Jedi. There is so much that can be done in the SW universe, and i have a feeling that Disney will not capitalize on any of it in a way that will satisfy SW fans.

The prequels would be infinitely better if they weren't completely CGI. Watching TPM this past weekend and it might as well had been a cartoon. It feels like a separate reality than the Original Trilogy.

Too bad Lucas couldn't CGI a protagonist.

Not to mention the actor who played Palpatine was so damn good. Hard to replace him
