Ratings or views?
People want to see how it ends.
Captain Marvel had lots of views but piss poor ratings.
They are the same.
Nice troll going though

It’s the highest rated season for any stranger things seasons first 6 episodes on IMDB. Facts don’t lie.
We already know the viewership broke the record for most streamed show EVER.
Nice job on making yourself look stupid you uneducated troll

Lanelsu83C, people are watching because they have been following this show for a decade. It doesn’t mean that the writers did a great job finishing it up. So far it’s been very underwhelming. Hopefully they saved everything for the finale, but confidence for that is not high.

Reading this thread confirmed I'm not wasting any time getting reaquainted with this garbage homo show.

Thank god I don’t let online reviews of random people stop me from watching a tv show or movie. That would be depressing
I was disgusted watching Omar suck a white mans penis in the wire for 5 seasons but that didn’t stop me from putting the wire as my number 1 show of all time.

So fanboys like yourself giving it good reviews? Seems legit. Where does Stranger things rank all time on IMDB?

Honestly, even the libs on Reddit have hated this season so far. I would put it as just ok. Definitely bottom tier season so far. My main problem is there is so much to cover in the finale. I’m not sure they finish it all to a satisfying conclusion

These episodes are mid but not because of lgbtq representation or girl power or whatever culture war topic people want to get hung up on. Those are character traits well established going back 3 seasons now - Robin was an established lesbian and independent tom boy in season 3, Eleven has been miss independent since season 2, Will has trended queer since season 3 and was established as full on gay in season 4, Max was a tom boy since her introduction. Dustin has been bullied for his appearance and demeanor since season 1. That’s the whole show: the kids who were thought to be weird or misfits or nerds in the 80s band together to fight inter dimensional monsters. They’re not supposed to be mainstream in their presentation and those who are those mainstream archetypes (Steve and Nancy, later on Lucas as the jock) develop to shirk those characteristics to join the weirdos because that’s a core conflict of the show: they’re fighting Vecna/the mind flayer, the military/covert ops, AND the entire society around them to try to save everyone. If you have a moral quandary with presenting the weirdos of the world as the heroes, this just isn’t going to be your show and it’s not meant to be. And that’s fine, consume the media that you find personally enjoyable.
No, these episodes are mid because the writing has gone HEAVY into non stop exposition and wrapping up/setting the table for character relationship finales when we still have unanswered questions about dimension X and Henry/Vecna. It just makes for a particularly boring 3+ hours of tv, even if it were the Barstool bros and Sydney Sweeney delivering the dialogue.
All in all, it’s still an interesting show and at least it’s trying to be unique and unpredictable with its writing. But it’s a show that he thrived off of the derivative gimmick to 80s nostalgia from the jump; it was always going to hit turbulence trying to be high concept sci-fi when it put itself into that box early on. It picked up altitude with a more interesting season 4 but it feels like it’s going to have to stick a boring - if not outright rough - landing to wrap things up.
Also, splicing this season up into 3 volumes is doing it no favors. It picked up momentum at the end of volume 1 after a slog to get there. Then a month wait to get 3 episodes with a lot of telling instead of showing (it had some engaging scenes but felt like the worlds most tedious audiobook otherwise). And now a gimmicky week long wait for the finale, which doesn’t really build any suspense.

These three episodes were almost entirely a waste
Too much to do in the finale

And yet it’s the lowest rated season yet on Rotten Tomatoes, and by a wide margin.

No matter how hard you melt it will still be one of the greatest shows of all time. Rotten tomatoes rated this season good. Plus IMDB will always be a better indicator between the 2.

At no point, and no time, was Omar's homosexuality a central factor in Omar's development or plot during The Wire.
When it came into the story it was a side plot, or a piece of a side plot.
Will's homosexuality is now the centerpiece of the show as it has positioned itself into becoming a fight between Will and Vecna, so much so that the 2 of them buttfricking each other could be a legitimate ending for the show.

Then why did they make a black man gay for a white man in the wire?
It’s actually much less than Omar on the wire the thru episode 5 of stranger things season 5.
With that said there’s no reason for any of this woke shite to be in this show.

Interesting.

Volume 2, which consisted of episodes 5 through 7, has led to a sharp decline in the season's audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. At this time of writing, on December 26, it currently sits at 77% compared to the 91% received for Stranger Things season 5, volume 1. It is worth noting that Volume 2 has only recently been released, so the score will fluctuate.

Interesting, as IMDB's records show that episode 7 is the lowest rated Stranger Things episode yet.

Some of you really think you are Albert Einstein level of geniuses. You think we don’t know who these character were and are? It doesn’t mean the writers have to keep shoving it down the viewers throats in cringey fashion. At no point in the show did any of the core characters and friend groups give off bigot vibes. They are accepting kids. So move on from the woke tropes - there are no societal obstacles to overcome for these diverse set of kids, as written.

You already got caught lying. Season 2 lost sister is the Lowest rated. Episodes 1-6 is the highest average from all the seasons.
Congrats on all the foreign bots rating episode 7 a 1 because of the woke 5 minute segment
Stranger things had one bad episode in 5 Seasons. That was season 2 episode 7

Well put.
There's nothing wrong with the characters. They are largely the same as they were in the beginning of the show. The issue is the show has left focus from the 4 main characters plus El, or the D&D party, and is focusing more and more attention on characters that were either secondary characters or foils for secondary characters.
Example: there's no reason why Jonathan and Nancy deserve so much story time alone.
