He has always been more... but I agree if they treat Season 41 as a hard reset on the entire show and ignore anything and everyone from before then it's going fade into Bolivia.

Ozzy

I don’t think there’s a single male player who fits the Ozzy mold of being in their 20’s and physically fit. The chin-up king is too over the top muscly - I’m talking just a guy in shape like maybe played high school sports and intramurals in college. We complain about the lack of eye candy in bikinis but I feel really sorry for the hetero female viewers!

Oh I agree that Jeff was always more, but it just seems different now. I guess we’ll see what they do with Season 43.

I think I’m more of an Amazing Race guy now.

A lot of good people that would be great as returnees in a second chance or blood vs. water season.

Seriously. Just from the previous few seasons there are so many that will have to come back. Just off the top of my head there is several fan favorites 36-40.

1 maybe 2 sort of attractive females.

so disappointing

If that's why you're watching Survivor, maybe you should stick with Bachelor in Paradise or Love Island.

One of the most annoying cast members. She needs to go very soon. Can't stand her.

Exactly. Every player gives their backstory and it’s hardly ever mentioned again.
It’s comical but also sad that so many here “quit watching” because of someone’s backstory

And it never matters at all to the players. Honestly, I'm more pissed that he lied on his application and cost someone else a spot than the fact that he was trans. I just don't care if he's trans.

That's on production as well. They could have pulled him for an alternate when he told them in Fiji about the lithium but decided not to. Obviously a bad call on their part.

He (Jackson)said the alternate had left the day before or earlier that day that he told production I believe. They have a 2 week quarantine so they couldn't have replaced him at that point.

Seems weird to send the alternates home before day 1 of filming... but hey I am not a TV producer.

I would have sent Maryanne home in a heart beat. I can't take that amount of energy around me for extended amounts of time.

I agree, plus I think she would flip on you in a heartbeat after a swap or merge based on how fast she fell in love with some dude on a different tribe. I think Marya had more potential to stay loyal if the 4 could stick together.

And why do these idiots keep telling everyone about their advantages and idols? Morons.

Brea made especially no sense... if she wants to form a girls' alliance, they already have the numbers 3-2... her extra vote is irrelevant.

And Jersey Mike... WTF mate? You go tell not one, but two people about your idol AND that you don't have a vote until these phrases are said out loud?

It happens so often there has to be a psychological explanation tied to exhaustion, boredom, and paranoia. Especially when it happens early in the season as a way to build trust. That’s arguably the worst time to share as everyone is still trying to get a read on people and it puts an immediate target on your back.

Probably. They can't mentally handle holding the secret and figure everyone is going to suspect it, so they feel like it's better to put it out in the open.

Admittedly having never played Survivor, they are fricking idiots.

Would they have had to cancel that challenge in past seasons? Each team has one in-shape male but only one tribe has a strong guy under 30. One of the other alpha males is in his 40’s and the other is over 50. They sat the worst folks out and still only 1 person was physically up to the challenge.
