Didn’t watch it after the director said she wanted to make men uncomfortable and repeatedly boosted herself up in interviews being the “first openly gay woman to direct Star Wars”

I saw that story recently. What the hell is Disney thinking? Their popularity is likely at an all time low with potentially a huge majority of their customers thinking they’re outright evil. I agree that’s the most likely scenario for this debacle. It’s absolutely ridiculous a company of Disneys size can’t get their ship ran tightly.

I wouldve watched another season but someone should've taught the lady in charge never to talk politics at the dinner. I don't need to know anyone in Hollywoods political beliefs or sexuality. Hopefully she will be a lesson to others on shutting up and avoiding interviews.

I still watch all the MCU and Star Wars content no matter what the reviews indicate.
With that said, the Acolyte and She Hulk were really hard to get through all episodes. Those are the two at the top of my worst shows of all time in those genres.

So let me get this straight, you think a person's opinion on a show is valid even if they never watched it and only got second hand information about it?
You don't think having stuff possibly out of context wouldn't effect their ability to judge the show fairly?

Absolutely. Please explain to me what’s out of context when I’m getting the meaning behind the show directly from the showrunner herself? There is no more direct source

It’s also not like this show is some dense piece of character writing and complex plot lines with deep themes like the first four seasons of GOT. It’s incredibly basic and stupid with absolutely nothing to say other than gays good whites bad. Men too. What else do you need to know?
