This 2nd season was so hard to watch and I stopped after a few episodes
The first and second halves of this season are two completely different shows almost. After Ep 6 when both Savanna and Terilisha are gone the show gets infinitely better

Finished last night... I'm surprised "Trevor" ended up winning in the end. I was expecting Chloe to take the top spot.
Again the late comers had no chance, which sucked. I think Mitchell could have done well if he started from the beginning... he waited too long to get into the real strategy but his intuition about everyone was spot on.

I think the whole show is less than two weeks, right?
Mitchel and khat probably came in on like day 3 or 4

It seemed later than that. Also were there less people this season? Or did it just seem that way because of the redemption twist for John.

Season 1 had 14 contestants and someone left and was replaced every episode.
Season two only had 11 and three or four episodes no one was blocked.
Season two had a much better format for the actual game.
And Mitch despite being late was one of the best characters. His problem was he was just enjoying the experience, which was fun to watch, but he had no game strategy so at the end he suffered.

Anyone watch Season 3?
This is the worst show.

I did. The casting was terrible for this season. I really like the strategy element but the "Emoji blah, blah. Hashtag blah, blah" shite is getting harder and harder to tune out.
Going in, I thought that I'd be pulling for the dwarf. But her "real recognize real" shite was so annoying. Most of them are faker than the ones that are in there catfishing.

I watched season 3, the dwarf and the gay teenager were annoying and I am glad they didn't win.
Nick totally dominated the game, hence his shite final rating, everyone knew he was the biggest threat.
James seemed like a good winner. He's the only winner so far (US at least) that wasn't there from day one.

Seems like season 3 was much more focused on gimmicky producer controlled games than the actual people and their interactions. Season two had that to an extent and it was worse this season. That bothered me.
The games didn’t even seem to have a point other than to cause nonsense fights or audience/viewer reactions instead of any actual consequences to the players. I forgot who was a catfish after Michelle left because the actual profiles and players didn’t even matter.

I'm probably biased against late entry players winning the game, but I thought that he was a terrible choice for the win.
I honestly skimmed through most of the last few episodes, but it seems like he let Nick talk him into evicting two of his own alliance members...after talking shite about how he was going to go in there with Nick and run shite.
I agree that Nick dominated and he or Kai were the most deserving winners, even though I didn't really like either one of them by the end of the show.

I got a VPN to watch the UK seasons, expecting them to be even better than the seasons on Netflix. As far as I can tell, they're not. But a lot of these twists in the Netflix seasons are coming from the UK seasons.
I agree that the games and twists don't really seem to have the impact that they did in the first couple of seasons.
The Brazil season wasn't bad. I tried to watch the French season but smug accents and "hashtag...Emoji" was more than I could tolerate.

This is the part that confuses me about this show. They spend ALOT of time and energy trying to figure out who is a catfish as if its the most damning thing a person could be. But in the context of this show where no one ever meets in person, why does it matter if someone is who they say they are?
I mean they only interact through chats so if a person becomes your friend via the chat then who cares if you are friends with the actual person or a catfish? The point of the game is to make friends so they rate you high. That's it. The whole "let's out the catfish" part seems to be an unnecessary distraction that the players fall into every time.
Also the hot girl that catfished as a dude (Jackson) was 1) the worst catfish ever. and 2) dumb af cuz everyone loves hot blondes.
