I'm not excited about that list either, but IMO at this point you've gotta take a "wait and see" approach with Nolan. He's got an unblemished track record.

I'm kinda with you but I can appreciate that this news has levelled my expectations a bit which is always good.
Keep in mind that news is starting to come out fairly frequently now and we still are waiting on news of Hardy's role, and who the female villain is so we still got at least 30 more Dark Knight Rises threads before showtime.

Yeah, the three main villains in "The Dark Knight" (Maroni, Two-Face, and Joker) were hardly physical specimens.
You don't need a physical freak to take on Batman. If you make the character interesting you don't need to have fist fights to make him/her good.
