I did not care for the zombie hopping the fence. That shouldn't have happened.
And they are starting to move a little too quickly for my taste
but i'm just nitpicking. I have another reason to look forward to Sundays!

Apparently, I didn't know what to expect for filler. Have you read the comics? If NOT, please enlighten me on the other filler ideas you have. I did not see this filler coming, but I do believe that this "filler" is defining zombies for future eps. While I do not have a problem with them reacting to sound, the primary stimulus they have shown the zombies reacting to is sound.
Again, I liked the ep, and it had its suspenseful parts. I just feel this ep relied on sound as the zombie activation. Maybe that is the way it will stay, it seems like it, and maybe the show will be awesome with it... not in spite of it.
I just immediately thought of tremors tonight. Sound was the agitator in the first ep, and it did not bother me.

I agree Zombie. These zombies are a little too agile. It almost seemed like they were running in some cases. Oh well

maybe the word "walkers" wont specify ALL undead. I haven't read the comic though so idk.
Remember night of the living dead 1968? They used fire to distract the undead to get away. Smelling like something will also keep you safe if they are blind.
Zombies are blind and they use sight and sound to get their prey.

DAMN, i wish i wouldn't have watched the first two episodes because i don't want to wait a week.
should have waited for the season to end then watch on hulu or dvd.

Yeah I was kind of disappointed to see that too. But I'm wondering if they are showing that some of the zombies haven't been dead for as long and they have more energy or something
loved the way the episode ended though. Next week looks very interesting. I just don't see how these frickers think living in tents is a safe move. I was thinking that last week and it looks like next week it becomes a problem.
and LOL at Michael Rooker. I've always hated that dude since Days of Thunder. It just sucked that the weird looking black dude(gangster from "The Blindside") had to be the dummy that did him in.
I guess if I had to really nit pick at this point, I wish there were hotter chicks on here. But ultimately this show is better than that. We don't need them hoes.

Might have been covered in the thread already, but why was there a 50-1 ratio of white zombies to black zombies in atlanta?

I was also surprised with the zombie jumping the fence, but I can understand making the zombies a little more agile than normal for a TV show. Another great episode. While the first episode was almost exactly in-sync with the comics, this one was very different. Which is awesome. Can't wait for next weeks episode.

They were smart enough to find an object to smash the glass on the doors of the store, why would they not be smart enough to jump a fence ?
