As a matter of fact, if you go back and watch the uncut cabin flash forward, there's a trophy case by the front door when Kevin gets there. It has some kind of award(s) in it.
Yes, that was shown sometime last season, I believe. I think it's an Oscar. There's a lot of speculation about the possibility of Kevin winning it for writing a screenplay, "This Is Us," and that being the show ending. I certainly hope it's not something gimmicky like that. He's already done that in his movie, Life Itself.
I personally think it will be for directing some movie that's about some thing we've seen in the show previously. It is definitely something we will find out.
There's tons of it's a dream, book, movie, Jack just woke up from a coma, Rebecca just woke up from giving birth and Kyle's alive...just ridiculous theories. I hope they just finish the story and don't do something silly.
Of course, even though people didn't like them a lot, the Dallas dream season, the St Elsewhere ending, and the Lost ending are still talked about a lot.

Game day bump. Still don't think they kill off Miguel.

Cannot see anything in the last 3 episodes that will top the last 2.
Wow!

What did I just watch? I rewound because I was sure I was wrong.
Did they really kill Miguel?

He's gone like Alderaan.
It's not necessarily surprising, since women typically live longer than men of the same age anyway, but it's still unfortunate.
Kevin and Sophie finally getting together last week (and confirmed to be still together by the time lapse montage at the end of last night) was likely the last spot of joy we get for the rest of the ride.

Yeah, that was pretty tough.

I didn't either. But
The episode was beautifully done. It truly honored Miguel and the wonderful man that he grew to be. That line from his mom about love... :wah:
So happy they at least showed that the Big 3 truly came to love and care about him. Only a few more episodes. I bet we still get some flashback or forward Miguel scenes.

And besides women living longer, I think he was more like Jack's age, 6 years older than Rebecca.
Kevin and Sophie are married! When they're in the kitchen at the end, Kevin has on a wedding ring!
I do hate that he died. But it does make sense and the episode was just beautiful. Rebecca knew him till the end. He was her rock.

Wow that was a tough one
I’m not usually crying during this show when everyone else is but this one took the cake

I mean, they killed him off but I wouldn’t say they did it prematurely. It doesn’t look like he died too long before her. It was kind of hard to judge. Man, they have really pulled this season out of its nose dive with the last two episodes. I hope they end up sticking the landing.

I’m the first to bag on this show for lazy writing but the past few weeks have been what made this show great in S1
If they stick the landing this will be an all timer in network dramas
