Watching it now. It takes placer during the Flavian dynasty (construction of the colloseum, Mt vesuvius) so it has some things to work off. It isnt bad but it isnt anywhere near what Rome was. 6 episodes in and I do not find myself giving a shite about any characters

Its more comic booky than GOT or Rome but I find it entertaining. I wouldn't white knight for this show but if someone asked, I'd say its worth a watch.

I think he does a good job in this show. He is giving us what many are complaining that we are missing from HotD. He is cut throat and vicious but also has a human side with compassion when its possible.

Yes. He plays a major character but with a small amount of screen time.
