That episode kicked arse!
Was legitimately spooky and suspenseful for the first time in a long time.

I truly feel like the walking dead took the right steps forward to become a horror series again. The scene in the graveyard with the mist was top notch creepy. And the trailer for the second half look awesome. I’m all in.

They gave us a lot of big events' I guess, but I feel like we should have gotten more show in this finale.
I guess we're just going to be vaguely jerked around about whatever happened between Michonne and Maggie and everyone else. Maybe they just can't come with enough details to fill it in, so they resort to this.

Hilltop is using horses and making spears, but somehow they baled a shitload of hay. There were dozens of square bales in the field outside the gate.

Alexandria needs a better jailer.
They need to fricking just tell us why there's friction between the settlements. It's getting fricking old with them just dancing around it to artificially frick with the audience. It's tired and stunts like that were what pissed off fans in prior seasons. It the one shittastic part of this season that they just can't help themselves from doing. They need to have the taste slapped out of their mouths for doing that in what is otherwise a pretty damned good season so far.
Also, Jesus had one of the best deaths ever on the show. It was a massive reveal.

Even with most of the audience knowing, they did a good job with the Jesus reveal kill.

Maggie's a farmer's daughter and Gertie or whatever the frick her name is gave Maggie a copy of "Farming for Dummies". If the haybale wrinkles your brain, consider that they have a damned windmill.
Hilltop also has a tractor and its implements, one of those ostensibly being a hay baler. Remember that Maggie needed the alcohol to power the tractor earlier this season so they could produce more food.

We'll probably get the reason for the tension soon. Pretty sure we see a flashback in the trailer for the second half of the season
