I’m guessing that they don’t ‘live’ in the zombie suits, and only put them on while out in the field.. just a guess though
As far as Daryl and the dog, I think having a dog during a zombie apocalypse can be a really bad move unless that dog is vigorously trained... it would either be a huge help, or a huge liability considering their unpredictable nature.. knowing myself, I’d probably die trying to save a random dog
The ‘girl power’ movement on this show is sort of annoying. Tara being a leader feels more ‘forced’ than rick and michonne’s sweaty romance.
I loved jesus’ death scene, it was done to perfection and took me by surprise. I am sort of glad to see him go though, he was starting to really get on my nerves with his schtick. I also felt like they were about to make an Aaron/Jesus love story

All of this. It's very annoying that this group of people who were literally a family are now all strung out across the state and don't speak to each other. It just doesn't fit. And I agree that instead of even hinting at it, they just give us this tension without explanation and it sucks.
I agree this is annoying and they are stringing it out for a fun flashback episode that will likely kill all momentum for second half of the season.
When Michonne and Carol were talking, they did hint toward the communities refusing to share goods and supplies and that causing a riff. I also think it will be revealed that Maggie was reluctant to let the Saviors into the communities, did so anyway, and there was an uprising and people were killed. Would explain Maggie being gone and the Savior leftovers being gone. And of course the split off group of Saviors who Carol torched.

Also agree that the "girl power" thing is getting really obnoxious now, but whatever. And someone also mentioned their disdain for this new deaf people group, which I agree with.
It's obnoxious...but it is what is for mass television in 2018.

I don't like them pushing Michonne and Tara as centerpieces of the show, but whatever.
Michonne I'm fine with. But Tara...she's easily one of the worst characters of all time and it's a shame she's still around while great characters are exiting. Not looking forward to when Sadiq, Tara, and Enid are leading the show.

Could be. That one dude blacksmithing was a former Savior, correct?
I assume the Michonne/Maggie thing had a lot to do with Negan. But I kinda thought that was sorted out between them when Michonne blocked Maggie but then relented and let them through once she explained what it meant for Negan to still be alive. It just doesn't make sense that they would all be THIS pissed at each other when they had literally spent years forming a family together, and being together was so important to them.
I know Rick was vital to the group in a lot of ways, but not so much that they would literally turn their backs on each other once he died (sorry, "died"). The only person that it sort of makes sense for is Darryl, since he was searching for Rick's body and still hasn't found it. Plus he was sort of a loner anyway and the most equipped to live on his own in the wilderness. But everyone else? Nah.
And I especially hate the forcing of Carol and Ezekiel. I did think Henry was gonna try to bone that nerdy Addy chick though.

Was he? I thought he was the guy who made a play on Maggie's life and was sent to the jail for some cool-off time. Which is why he told Henry he's been there before when Henry was in the cell. I don't recall if he was a former savior or not.

I agree, though if one community decided to say no to their friends in regards to giving them food, medicine, supplies, etc; then it could turn hostile pretty quickly. Someone mentioned an idea the Hershel Jr. is dead. That could also play into Maggie being gone. After all, everyone says "Maggie is gone," not "Maggie and HJ are gone."

Same here. Carol doesn't need anyone. To force her into a relationship is stupid.

Shooters gotta shoot. I think that's why she was there. The two guys in the group were a little too "friendly" with one another, and that's par for the course with TWD 2018.
Got to make sure the community is an LGBTQ, Muslim, disability-friendly, feminist community.

That's the old man that tried to kill Maggie...Brett Butler's husband. I am talking about the younger dude that was talking to Carol when she dropped Henry off. She was like "Henry is looking to get some blacksmith knowledge," and he was like "We can help with that." Same dude who (I think) later was kissing Enid.

In the episode someone (Saddiq maybe) said that Maggie had left and had taken Herschel with her. Or at least I thought they said that.

Ah yes, he was a Savior but was established from the very beginning as being different in that he was reasonable and kind.

Did they? I don't really remember either.
Unless...she took HJ's body with her!?!

Women do tend to hold onto grudges for a bit.

I gave up on this show this season and haven't seen anything but the first episode. I'll have to get back in with my favorite storyline in play.
I just hated how they told us the whole year Rick was leaving.

I'm wondering why they did that.
My guess is they wanted people to tune in for ratings to see how he goes out.
But that brings up the question why they got rid of him so early in the season.

They did that because people lifelessly stalk the filming sets and spoil which episodes certain actors were on set and not on set.
And people constantly kept saying rick was only on set for 6 episodes during off season, then amc refuses to comment at first
And was forced to embrace the leak.
People did that shite for the negan cliffhanger
They knew that of all the actors on the show, glen and Abe were only on set for the opening episode.

Those people are sad.
And they are from the same exact ilk as the ones on this board who know spoilers and love spoiling, or bragging, or even "guiding" others.

I guess just to get people to tune in. Would have been way better to have been surprised, though.

No, there's someone that specifically says that Maggie and Herschel are with Gertie (or whatever the hell her name is).

It was Jesus.
Hardwick had a weird shout out to Lauren Cohan on TD last night, so I imagine the whole situation is about her contract, and she walked away.
As for the all female leadership, I still maintain that the entire entertainment industry was preparing us for "women are in charge, get used to it" with Hillary, and they're still going through he motions.
God, I'm glad the bitch lost.

Dog is the best and most likeable character on the show.

I lose it every time Daryl says “Dog!!!”
I’m definitely naming my next dog, Dog.
