Ed is Angelo's chief competition, but Kevin has turned up the heat big time as of late.
It's a shame Kenny had to go home since him and Angelo were clearly the two best, but Kenny just didn't keep up his game. Lately hes been slacking and it showed at the judges table.
I now want Ed to win, followed extremely closely by Kevin.
Alex and that young girl, how on earth they are still in this competition is beyond my comprehension.

Don't see how anybody left will be able to beat Angelo unless he slips up big time.

Angelo is like Hueng. The guy is brash, but he can cook. I hope he doesn't win, but I think he is the best now. Sad to see Kenny go.

Jut watched the episode and I call super bullshite.
The red team violated the rules and thus should have been the loser. Alex did nothing and he pretty much admitted that he didn't make his own dish.
You certainly can't claim that the judges manipulate the show to keep the strongest because they could have very easily sent Amanda home.
Maybe the producers are punking us Andy Kaufman style by keeping Alex. The dude has cheated two time now and he is still on the show.
He has got to be one of the crappiest cooks to every make it this far.

Colicchio's blog on restaurant wars episode:

First of all -- and this is not the result of a new Top Chef rule but, rather, has been the way team challenges have worked since the show’s inception -–
Alex was on the winning team; he wasn’t up for elimination.
Let’s see if I can be clearer:
Alex was on the winning team; he wasn’t up for elimination.
Alex was on the winning team; he wasn’t up for elimination.
Alex was on the winning team; he wasn’t up for elimination.
Alex was on the winning team; he wasn’t up for elimination.
Alex was on the winning team; he wasn’t up for elimination.
Alex was on the winning team; he wasn’t up for elimination.
Alex was on the winning team; he wasn’t up for elimination.
Alex was on the winning team; he wasn’t up for elimination.
Just to make sure everyone understand this:
Alex was on the winning team; he wasn’t up for elimination.
