Jurassic park 3. Great first 3/4 of movie. Rushed the ending way to bad. If they would have just added 20 mins and stretched the ending better, the movie would of been closer to the first. Still better than 2nd

It was better the second time I watched it. People are stuck on comparing it to Alien. It's not Alien, it's just a good movie (minus the last 20 min).

Most Judd Apatow movies. I know this gets mentioned a lot but most of his movies would be improved by taking out at least a quarter of the movie on the back half. Superbad is a great example. When I still had cable I would watch about the first forty five minutes of the movie and then lose interest every time.

Blasphemy. The ending was great

Sunshine's score alone almost makes up for that final act. Ill submit High Tension, I was so pissed.

Completely disagree. Thought it was great

First two that come to mind:

Sunshine (like some have already said)
Jeepers Creepers (more like the second half of the movie than just the last act, but still..)

"The Beach" without a doubt. Great movie until the last 30 minutes.

Good call. I loved, and then hated, that movie. So much promise.

I don't hate it overall, but it's definitely just mediocre IMO.

A lot of movies in that genre are really good until the ending.

The Devil Inside is another that I'll submit for this thread. It's really awesome until literally the last two minutes of the movie, and that last scene pretty much ruins the rest of it.

Back when it used to come on HBO a lot, I would watch it up until it goes off the deep end and turn it off.

Also, I have to disagree with ya'll on From Dusk Til Dawn. That movie made a turn for the better once they got to the Titty Twister.

Agreed. The story would have been really great if it was just about the fallen reverend and his loss of faith, kidnapped by criminals, and refinding his faith. The minute the vampires showed up the movie shite the bed. (with the exception of Salma Hayecks breasts that is)

I don't know that I would say all that. I mean, the vampires were the movie.

But they didn't HAVE to be. That's my point. I'd argue the same for The Abyss. The movie would have been even better if there were no aliens at all. Just the story of this deep water undersea platform, the SEALs, the nuke, etc. Just leave the aliens out, they're not needed. The vampires weren't needed either.
