Those guys in black are exactly the reason I jumped here, didn't expect that new twist....I wonder if they are good or bad....or both. Any chance that's the "master" and somehow gonna convince the public when all hell breaks out that he's good and a protector and then try to control the world?? Or are they an infected group that has been around forever but found a cure/suppressant to keep the virus at bay?
I love the show, creepy as hell but with a "controlled chaos" feel.
Agree with everyone else that the first few episodes were slow as they introduced the storyline, but as this virus is spreading it is getting really good.
One inconsistency...girl in closet at health/rat dept dies instantly on exposure to window sunlight, but the rich bitch tonight in the house with windows everywhere didn't even blink at sunlight through windows by the wine cellar

For the people earlier in the thread questioning the body dump in the river...I don't think it was significant, merely keeping things quiet like the whole master plan, and a dead body with a lizard tongue could potentially mess the whole plan up. Maybe im wrong, but my take was just further cover up to allow everything to unfold given time like the bad guys want it to. Without blatant physical evidence to make people start asking questions.

Good....series definitely starting to leave us hanging and wanting more answers and to see WTF happens next and how this outbreak/plan unfolds.

The Redheaded mom freaked me out, crawling towards the doors was pretty creepy.
Vampire hunters were strange too and like everyone else has said it's been fantastic the last two weeks.

Great show last night. Things are really starting to take off. I am curious how much longer the old man lasts. I loved the back story last night. I am going to start reading the books today. The end of the show was awesome with the vamps that showed up to save the day.

Jam this episode delivered. Awesome to see some rogue vampires for a change of pace. Also, would be nice if they could get Ron Perlman on this show. He and GdT are buddies and I loved when he played Reinhart in blade 2.

I felt the same way at first, but then I realized the exterior windows were mostly frosted glass that probably blocked out the UV rays. The window that caused the burn was a sky light and she moved out of it immediately unlike the girl who was in the closet incapacitated.

We don't know yet what their plans are...it didn't give me a good feeling when he gave only the children a close examination. It seemed to me like they were some special Vamp task force trying to control the spread for what ever reason.

Yeah, they may have "helped out" in this particular situation, but I'm definitely gonna hold off on lumping them into the "good guys" category. I wouldn't be surprise if they actually work WITH the German and his crew and the Master.
