The one that comes to mind immediately for me is "Bewitched" when they swapped out the role of Samantha's husband, Darren after 6 seasons when Dick York pulled out due to physical injuries and his addiction to prescribed pain killers replaced him with Dick Sargent
Are you saying it got better or worse …

Morty Seinfeld is a good one although I found the first one likeable.
2 1/2 men is waaaay better with Charlie Sheen.

I’ve got two that are worse in my opinion:
Forged in Fire. Will Willis was way better than the plank of wood that replaced him. The way the switch came about also was shitty for Will.
Wheeler Dealers: I started watching it when Ant was the mechanic. I liked him better than Elvis. Elvis isn’t bad, but the switch just seems wrong.

I liked it better when Edd China was the mechanic before Ant. You feel how I felt when Edd left.

Yeah I know it’s more about where you started with this one.

Didn't really care to be honest. The only thing I did notice was that Dick Sargent was a better looking guy than Dick York and that made for a better looking couple for the main characters.

I agree about Bewitched. It wasn’t that Sargent is a bad actor. It was just
that they were so noticeably different.
that they were so noticeably different.

Though Anthony Whitfield started as Spartacus and died, I though Liam McIntyre did a fantastic job of taking up that role. He ever looked very similar.

and I bet there were a lot of people didnt even notice the change for a while
I don’t see how it would be possible to not notice the change.
Liam McIntyre did what he could. But he looked noticeably different and it was jarring. I don’t blame him or anybody and I still enjoyed the show.

Not exactly an actor swap, but getting rid of Brendanawicz from s1 of P&R and bringing in Ben and Chris later to kind of fill that void
He was still there when they brought them in.
