It was a total flop, just got out of it and it’s by far the worst and cheesiest, most unrealistic movie I’ve seen in my life
Same plot, same characters, different actors as the first one.
Exactly.
Putting 20 barrels of maxi pad absorption beads up into a massive tornado makes the tornado completely stop and vanish
Don’t waste your time

Im not exaggerating when i say this is the worst movie i have seen since i made my now wife go see the meg with me on our first date 6 years ago. It has no reedeeming qualities, terrible cadting, terrible acting, no comic relief, a plot with more holes in it than tory lane 4 people walked iut half way through. I would have if my wife let me

It was pretty good. I was glad the chick got together with the redneck guy instead of Javier.

Do they play the original theme song/score?
Gets me going whenever I hear it.

Sharknado is the GOAT twister movie. Hundreds of sharks sucked out of the ocean by tornadoes and also hungry and vengeful for humans. People fight back with whatever weapons they can find, like chainsaws and machine guns. The Sharknado series of movies includes romance and even astronauts getting in on the action. What's not to love?

Thinking about taking my kids today. Any queerness or stuff not for kids in this?

Zero. In tact I would say it presents masculinity positively. In fact the main male protagonists gets judged early on and you find out later he’s doing what he is doing to help people. There is one minor character I couldn’t nail down the sex on but that’s it.

Not gonna see it.
Saw Roadhouse and Red Dawn remakes.
I actually didn't see the Red Dawn remake.

I certainly get your apprehension, but it’s a good time.

Some of the camaraderie feels forced at times and it does feel like at times people were quirky just to be quirky. But that’s my only real complaint for the movie.
A lot of high tension moments and a very epic feeling ending to the movie. Worth seeing

Just got out. It is a really good movie for kids.
Also, in case you are wondering...
Kinda MEH but not really spoilers:
the main character Kate is supposed to be the daughter of Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton's characters but they, obviously, couldn't get them.

Supposedly Helen hunt tried to get a sequel going years ago and they didn’t listen to her so she was annoyed and didn’t want anything to do with this

Entertaining but underwhelming, coming from a hardcore Twister fan.
The good:
I felt like Glen Powell and Daisy Jones were pretty good choices.
The science was much improved from past tornado flicks.
CGI was well done for majority of movie.
The bad:
All the other actors were pretty forgettable. I don't know why it's so hard to find the right group of actors like the original Twister. I mean I can quote the original movie. Doesn't matter which actor it was. So many great lines and characters.
The soundtrack was a real head scratcher. Wasn't a fan at all.
The writing felt good at certain points, but the majority of it fell flat, and it felt off balance.
Sidenote: I love that they made light of the crazy storm chasers being from Arkansas.

Took my teenage daughter to see it. It was a great film. No woke. BS. Nothing seemed forced or shoehorned. Incredible visuals, and GOOD CGI. Just a solid disaster movie, and believable. Just a fun romp I enjoyed beginning to end, some decent twists.
Worth the money

I agree . It was refreshing to have a regular movie without a bunch of shite crammed in your face for no reason other than for Diversity and inclusion…. Kinda like how it used to be in the good ol’ days
Worth a 9 dollar matinee for 2 hours of entertainment

We just got out of it and enjoyed it. As long as you’re going in with expectations of a summer popcorn flick you won’t be disappointed.
Soundtrack is pretty damn good as well

Just got out. Really, really fun movie. No woke crap at all. Tornados are done really well. Just a fun, enjoyable movie... no silly agenda.
As an aside... Maura Tierney... not too shabby for a 60 year old.

Just saw this, how refreshingly good and entertaining.
Glen Powell bursting onto the scene as the YT influencer fits his high ego schtick that made him such a great character in Maverick. Then we see a different side of him as time goes by. I’m looking forward to see what Powell does in the future.
Daisy Edgar Jones… it’s great to see a heroine that’s believable and not forced. From the very beginning her character is developed, and coupled with the flashbacks, makes her heroic act believable and just fun to watch. Tyler is right when he tells the reporter that’s been following him… “Kate’s the story.”
