I don't think she did but I think Ragnar may have had a hand in her death. He shows up and hands them food so "she can eat" and then just happens to show up not too long after when Helga is digging a grave.

He seemed upset that the kid was dead though and she held his arm while they looked at the grave. I think she did it. He said something like "what did you do?" and she replied "does it matter"

Her accent is shitty, but IWHI. I laughed out loud before her when Rollo was dressed as a queer and did his little curtsy.
I don't know why Helga would have killed her little girl but that was weird. Maybe she wanted to spare her of seeing her dad being waterboarded.

I've been reading some stuff this morning and people are saying that the daughter was coughing in the scene where Ragnar brings them food. So maybe she was sick and that's what killed her.
Makes sense. People died all the time back then from little things... especially children.

shite, I missed last night's episode, now I gotta go catch it on demand.
A minor gripe, that might escalate over the season- the actress playing the French princess really, really doesn't do it for me. I'm fine with someone being plain/borderline ugly as a bit player, but in her role, they should have put in someone prettier.
added- Siggy would have been an ideal French princess, or someone younger, who has her looks.

I agree with that... and her accent is unbearable. Every time she says "Par-REE" I want to vomit.
I just looked up the actress. It's Roman Polanski's daughter. No wonder she's so hateable... her dad is a pedophile.
