Here's the eat crow post. Cockopotamus, kingbob, and the rest of y'all enjoy!

"Hey guys, look at all of these clues leading to multiple timeframes. Look, here's the evidence!"

"Yes, I'm real. It's just a theory though. No need to start melting. You could still be right!"

"Whoa, don't get too testy guys. You're more than likely wrong, but there's still a chance. Delores saw the MiB in a flashback and ran off with William. There's still hope."

"That's the spirit! Oh, what's that? William and the MiB have the same shirt on? And the same knife?"

"Ok, it might be a coincidence. What about those different logos though? Right??!!"

"Well, there you have it. Multiple timeframes confirmed. But it's ok if you feel retarded, I will endulge you the occasional mistake."

Melt away b*tches. Melt away......

Yep

Um...what specifically have I said that has you and that other pussy so upset?

I've laid off a lot from posting on Westworld threads for weeks because they were getting spammed by simpletons posting shite they got verbatim from other sites.

I looked back through my posts and I think the last thing I said about the MiB was Nov 1st when I said I thought he might be from the corporate board.

T'would be nice if we could have some actual show discussion. I'll try to start again:

Why do you think Ford killed Elsie? What do you think his motivations are in introducing the update that triggered the older models?

I would think because she was digging around too much.

When she found out that Theresa was the one attempting to smuggle out data from the park she also found out that someone else was using the same bicameral system to re-task some of the older hosts, altering their "prime directives". The best she could tell it was Arnold that made the changes. Since we now know that Bernard is an imitation of Arnold we could assume Bernard was making the changes on Ford's behalf and thats why we get Bernard flashing back to choking out Elise.

Ford knows the MiB is looking for the maze. He also owns the park. Obviously, Ford has something big planned for the MiB and didn't want Elsie to ruin it. Ford will probably have Dolores kill the MiB just like he made her kill Arnold. But this time I think Dolores doesn't kill him but kills Ford instead.

Yes but then why have several different hosts told the MIB that "the maze isn't/wasn't meant for you"? By that statement I'm guessing that the maze is Arnold's way of helping the hosts achieve total consciousness. I think Arnold might have been a misanthrope and wants the hosts to replace mankind? I'm truly a confused bastard. I appreciate all you that are smarter and more observant than me helping me grasp this cluster frick of an entertaining show!

I think it all centers around Ford having a god-complex.

We don't know what the maze is yet. One of the hosts says that theres a man living inside the maze who was able to control everything and everyone, ended up getting free and building the maze around him so nobody could find him. For all we know, Arnold could actually be alive inside of the maze and Dolores didn't actually kill him and instead made a host that looked like him and faked his death. This would be another reference to Shakespeare in which the show has many. It would also explain how Arnold was able to write code on that relay in the old theater.

Could the real Arnold have grabbed Elsie? And he used her tablet to coerce Thors brother out there alone to catch him too?

I think it has everything to do with the older hosts being reprogrammed using the old radio based system; not necessarily THAT Elsie learned they were being reprogrammed, but rather WHO Elsie learned was reprogramming them. Her bulldog attitude to digging at the truth would pretty quickly lead her to Bernarnold after that point. Then, the full truth of the incident at the park that Ford's hidden for 30+ years comes out and the whole house of cards comes down.

Ford cannot and will not allow that, if he's able.

Thinking back on it, they've given us so many clues every episode. Makes me want to do an entire rewatch before Sunday. Don't think a show has ever had me do that before in the same season.

Wasn't Elsie more on the track to find who was sending the info out of the park? Which would lead her to discover the boards doings. She wasn't necessarily after Ford.

Nm see that it's already mentioned.

Elsie was on the phone with Bernard right before she was taken. Bernard was with Theresa. I'm telling y'all. She was taken by the real Arnold.

Lol, this was one of Cooter Davenport's posts:

quote:

These aren't two different timelines. Lawrence and Dolores are both normally on 'story loops'. What you saw in the show was MIB intercepting Lawrence's normal story loop, which ends with him getting hanged, and taking him along on MIBs quest, until MIB killed him. Then, when Lawrence died, he was fixed and put back on his normal story loop, which is when William and Delores, who has taken herself off of her normal story loop, encountered Lawrence and participated in his normal loop.

It's all right there in the show. It's not that mysterious. This show is like an intelligence test. People who buy into this multiple timeline garbage are below a certain intelligence threshold.

Anddd guedeaux:
quote:

They said Dolores was way off loop or course, then they sent someone to get her, and then William grabs that guy. That is a fricking linear timeline which directly connects William to the same people who approved MiBs fireworks. That is a piece of evidence. You have 0 pieces of evidence to support your theory. Literally, 0. All you have are assumptions based on your guesses.

quote:

Exactly. William is proven to be part of the same timeline as MIB by that scene. It's over. The "William is an another timeline 30 years ago" theory is officially kaput. Hopefully people will stop polluting these threads with that debunked garbage.

But I was converted by episode 6:

Was the two timeline theory not quashed when the POS dude with the black hat was talking about Arnold killing himself 35 years ago?

Definitely not. Now there may be 3 (or more) time-frames we are seeing.

Arnold would be too old.

Glad the multiple time frame and Arnold theory got justified last night. Was tired of arguing it to brick walls. Like Hawgnsincebirth55. I think he told everyone to suck his balls at one point?

She certainly seemed to think it could be him. She called his name out.
