Vision was never anywhere near full strength in Infinity War. He was stabbed by Corvus early on and was basically a wounded duck the rest of the time.
I watched last night and that scene was my only slight gripe. This isn't a bad explanation. I forgot Vision was damaged.
Plus Vision probably didn't shoot to kill immediately whereas Ultron/Vision had no issues going from zero to 100.

Carol Danvers got her powers from basically the EXHAUST from the Tesseract. (Space Stone)
Wanda Maximoff got her powers from exposure to Loki's staff (A device that had the mind stone in a containment shell so it wouldn't drive the user insane).
How much power do you think a being basically made of pure vibranium would be able to draw from the Mind Stone.
When Thanos was using the stones, he was using a gauntlet made of Uru metal for short bursts. That wasn't even using the full power of the stones.
Note how, whenever Thanos snapped, the gauntlet was basically cooked. Now imagine a metal (vibranium) capable of sustaining the energy without structural damage channeling one stone, let alone all six.

Wow! Just finished the binge. That last episode (writing/plot/action sequences) was on par with the live action movies.

That visual of Hawkeye firing that arrow into all the Ultron sentries was dope.

Nice. This last episode completely flipped me on the series going forward. More multiverse vs Vultron please.

Episode 1: Captain Carter
Episode 2: Star-Lord T'Challa
Episode 3: Carol Danvers
Episode 4: Strange Supreme
Episode 5: Peter Parker
Episode 6: King Killmonger
Episode 7: Party Thor
Episode 8: Natasha Romanoff and Arnim Zoltron
This seems like a reasonable list, but it seems odd to me that they would pull in heroes from worlds that we didn't see die and they didn't indicate were headed for destruction.

I need that shot to use for my laptop background.

Thanos literally didnt have a chance to use the gauntlet to block Ultrons beam.
He hit one of Thanos's henchmen with it in Infinity War and it barely did any damage.
Yes I agree. The real reason Vision cut Thanos in half so quickly here but not in Infinity War is cause this show is 30 minute What If and Infinity War had Endgame coming after.
It has nothing to do with Vision "holding back" or Ultron's Beam is more powerful.
Having said that in-universe wise Thor literally stabbed Thanos in the chest and almost killed him..Thanos can be cut..he would have to use the stones to block a powerful shot/stab and didnt have time to block Ultron Visions.

Haven't been able to find a good one yet

This Strange happens to be the most powerful version of him, due to his misdeeds. I think that's why HE is picked; his universe being dead just happens to be the result of him powering up.
You get Black Widow and Zola from Ultron's universe, and Party Thor because Ultron has invaded his universe. The rest, I'd say, are filler.

Same. If I find one, I'll post it.

That makes sense. I wonder if anyone from our universe will show up?
Maybe Captain Marvel, since they keep trying to force her into every episode.

They made Ultron downright terrifying in this one. I feel like they totally missed the mark in AoU but nailed it in this one. He had my nerves frayed the entire episode

I guess I need to power through this. On my first attempt I turned it off at the bar scene with Thanos being a goofy sidekick.

I get what they tried to do in the movie, because he was created by Tony. Nearly all his lines sounded like they were written for Iron Man for a reason, but yeah in this episode he was more menacing and seems unstoppable.

Maybe the most terrifying is the thought that, apart from the infinity stones, the rouge AI launching nukes seems like one of the more realistic supervillain plots

Episode 8 made even the sub-par episodes worth it, and there are some other really great episodes too. Hopefully they pay it all off next week.

Yeah a lot of episodes seem to dunk on Thanos, he clearly does not get the same level of respect as he does in the movies.

In Age of Ultron, he tried this but JARVIS kept blocking him at every attempt.
