The Champ. I still remember that. Went to bed with a box of tissues. My parents shouldn't have let me watch it.
Also cried when King Kong died.
And when they killed Bubba in Dark Night of the Scarecrow.

That's not a movie. Just my thought as I read the post.
The Champ tears me up to this day. If I'm being honest, most of the others affect with me too. I'm a sensitive fella.

The Fox and The Hound had some pretty sad moments.
I remember crying at the end of Fox and the Hound when I was little but I can't remember what I was crying about.

The end of Davy Crockett King of the Wild Frontier. Davy Crockett was swinging his musket and bashing Mexican skulls as the last man standing. Then the music kicks in with a cut to the Texas flag waving and a cut to his March 6, 1836 journal entry "Liberty and Independence Forever!!!"
I wore that tape out in the mid 80s.

Fox & The Hound was my favorite movie and I don't remember it making me sad, let alone crying. Apparently I was a sociopath with absolutely no feels as a child

When the cool looking ship sunk in the movie Titanic.

I just reread where the red fern grows for the first time since I was a kid. A simple enough read as you might expect, but a good one. Just a story about a boy and his huntin' dogs.
