I love that part of the movie. The OSullivans and the Civil War brothers mentioned by the General in the movie reading the letter from Lincoln.
I dont see the rip off angle. Two movies about the same war.

Neither do I. Seeing as how the mission and people in Saving Private Ryan were completely fictional and Band Of Brothers was completely factual.
