We just started this last night. Not from NO (or LA) but have visited a few times. I wondered why he drove across the CCC. to get to the Lower 9th. I assumed he had driven into a bad area in Algiers.

My wife and I started watching this, but quit. We could not believe the stupid things they did to help themselves. They kept digging a bigger hole that they could never get out of. Plus they are getting other people involved which makes it worse.

Finished it yesterday. Cranston accepting the apology of the kid who murdered his son?! Ha
The mother having the gangster father (is this guy Italian , Spanish, Greek? - too many differing accents) “murder” the husband in his own hotel. lol
I like the NOLA scenery.

And why was the murder case dismissed? The DOJ wants the kid to snitch so they force the dismissal of the state case? None of that makes sense.

It’s been awhile, but from what I recall the first season was entertaining and by midway through the second season my eyes were bleeding. Good cast, terrible writing the entire second season
