That's the only one of their popular songs I don't like. I used to play the crap out of Do It Clean and The Cutter.

These two girls are listening to 90% of that list without a doubt.
And Kreator is part of the 10% without a doubt.
I'd go so far as to say no one registered on this website listened to them in 1986.

After re-reading I'm not sure if you were talking about just Kreator or the whole list, but I went thru the entire top 100 and made a list of the albums that either me or my (younger) brother had back in 1986. Here's what I came up with (To the best of my failing memory....) Full disclosure, my brother owned more of these than me, but by default I DID listen to them in 1986...
REM - Life's Rich Pageant
Love and Rockets - Express
Peter Gabriel - So
Husker Du - Candy Apple Grey
Public Image Ltd., Album
Taking Heads, True Stories
Dead Kennedys, Bedtime for Democracy
The B-52s, Bouncing off the Satellites
Iggy Pop, Blah Blah Blah (TIE)
The Dead Milkmen, Eat Your Paisley!
Fishbone, In Your Face
IF we include the 2nd list, this would be the list..
Raising Hell Run-D.M.C.
Licensed To Ill Beastie Boys
Master of Puppets Metallica
Lifes Rich Pageant R.E.M.
Parade Prince
5150 Van Halen
Top Gun Original Motion Picture Soundtrack
Word Up! Cameo
Peace Sells...But Who's Buying? Megadeth
Tuff Enuff Fabulous Thunderbirds
Back In Black Whodini
Eat 'Em And Smile David Lee Roth
Georgia Satellites Georgia Satellites
Like A Rock Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band
True Stories Talking Heads
Candy Apple Grey Hüsker Dü
Oh, My God! Doug E. Fresh (12")
The 2 Live Crew Is What We Are 2 Live Crew
Kool Moe Dee Kool Moe Dee (Had a 7" 45 I think)
Express Love And Rockets
Album Public Image Ltd.

This is not Goth.
Finally read this whole thread
Jesus you guys. If we're talking goth in the early 90s I think this thread is missing the mark entirely.
My fellow goths were hardcore into the hyperium label out of Germany and Projekt Records. Not a single band in that genre has been posted once in this thread.
Cranes
Bel Canto
loveliescrushing
Black Rose
Dead Can Dance
Area
Moon 7x
Fields of the Nephilim
Stina Nordenstam
Ecstacy of St Theresa
Black Tape for a Blue Girl
Lycia
Love Spirals Downward
Insides
David sylvian
Hope Blister
Love is Colder than Death
Miranda Sex Garden
In the nursery
Stoa
cindytalk
These are literally off the top of my head; all were early 90s and I could keep going.
I don't think you get to say what was goth in the early 90s if you don't recognize any of these.
For example:
These were VERY popular in the art/goth scene in Houston in the early 90s and I had the pleasure of seeing some of them live.
We must live on 2 different planets because 90s goth and this music goes together.
WATCH THAT WHOLE VIDEO!
LOOK AT HER! SHES PERFECT
