Peter Murphy just released Silver Shade. I'm trying to let it grow on me.

Swoon
“I am both in the state of swoon as are my audience when witnessing my live performance,” Murphy said in a press statement. “Trent Reznor cordially accepted my invitation to appear on the song, adding a welcome vibe on the second verse, as well as throughout the entire song in the form of backing vocalizing.”

Nirvana’s 1st album “Bleach”came out this year. The beginning of the end for Queensryche, Cinderella etc.
Of the three bands mentioned, two of them are still recording and touring.

Three albums come to mind for me-
XTC- Oranges & Lemons
Rolling Stones- Steel Wheels
Love & Rockets
By the way, I just saw EX TC, Tuesday night in The Woodlands and I believe they are scheduled to play in Baton Rouge. They are led by former XTC drummer, Terry Chambers and they do a great collage of mostly early 80's XTC songs Don't miss what will probably be your last chance to see anything close to the real XTC!
