I bought almost all the albums. Two of my favorite 5 concerts were them. I still listen a lot, especially Pleasant Dreams.

Saw them about 30 years ago. Loud... Loud. They were tight though. Frank Black from the Pexies was the opening act. Good show.

Johnny Ramone doesn't get the credit he deserves for his playing...No he doesn't do solos, that doesn't fit the style of their music, but try playing power chords at the speed he plays them, while only using downstroke picking for a full 2 hour show with little to no breaks between songs...it will wear you arse out pretty quick !

They have always been my most basic litmus test.. if you dont like the Ramones, odds are we won't get along...
