Your ST70 is rated at 35wpc at fullpower. Your TT won't really make a difference - but speakers will. What speakers are currently using?

Run them without a sub first and see what you think. Generally I've seen that Maggies really benefit from a sub. I have no personal experience with them but have always wanted to dip my toe in with some LRS's.
