C'mon, no Black Angels?

Yeah that's surprising, but Alex has a solo slot that Saturday and is touring with Mien later in Spring for their new album.
I'd love a new album from The Black Angels more than anything else at this point. Saw em play APF a couple years ago, but this lineup is probably better overall.

yea, that's kind of strange but the fest has gotten too corporate IMO. I actually had free tix to see Black Angels yesterday but passed on it since I was feeling so shitty....and I've seen them 9-10 times.

I may go just for the Dean Wareham/Galaxie 500 set.

I know it’s cliche here but I’ve heard of one of those band

I can actually open my door and catch the sound from this venue
It’s a tiny bar sitting on a surprising big piece of land but it’s still pretty small to hold these kind of festivals. From what I’ve seen they put up these two story scaffolds for more space for viewing which feels not up to code

The sound was not great for Black Angels at APF a couple years ago, but that was the first year they had it at that venue after the fest was on hiatus. Not sure what the problem was, but Black Rebel Motorcycle Club sounded a lot better afterwards.

Kim Gordon and Yo la tengo would be fun. Saw Dinosaur Jr with Flaming Lips and Weezer in October.

The Mystery Lights are good and Garrett T. Caps is some good Stoner-adelic stuff
