I personally believe ATMP rivals some of the Beatles best albums. Having said that, I enjoy Paul's entire body of work more.

lots of people believe that, because its true.
in this comparison though, its all george ever really did that stands up to paul & john's work

george's album is an all-timer, hall-of-fame work of composition. john was still the better solo songwriter

ATMP-excellent album but doesn't really come close to an average Beatles album.

...not to mention, the mix by Spector is an absolute trainwreck.

Awaiting On You All sounds like it was recorded underwater, in a stream inside of a cave.

Yes he did, but he did a decent job on Imagine because John kept him limited.
