I don't know if a harmonica solo can count as a Southern Rock solo, but it sure has the Southern Rock feel!

Another Dickie Betts masterpiece that is not “as” well known is Back Where It All Begins.

The solos in Zip City by DBT are some of my favorite.

Carlisi's outro in Hold On Loosely is brilliant.

This isn't really a "solo" it continues through the whole song.
It doesn't get more southern rock than this...

This is my all-time favorite Marshall Tucker song. and the solo is done perfectly. This album right here is in my opinion one of the best Southern rock albums. Take a listen

One of my favorites as well! The album is full of great songs! The most popular being 24 hours at a time. It’s very interesting to find some of those songs played live and look at the musician ship that went into them. Just about any live version of 24 hours at a time or Blue Ridge Mountain sky. Their style of playing yes something that. I hope we see resurface when people get fed up with all this so-called AI music. They were the ultimate jam band.

This one's got two great solos: a slide by Gary Rossington early and a great one by Steve Gaines late.
