Would a Grammy nominated band that's sold over 15 million records be massive?

Hey, I'd go.

And if they are "Massive" they aren't gonna take a trip to BR just for that show, its going to be someone who is passing through to NO or Houston.
Hence, why my two guesses still stand out.

See, that wouldn't be massive to me...
I think it would be a pretty big for a show at The Varsity... but, yeah, wouldn't be as earthshaking that this is being built up to be...

Meh, maybe and maybe not.
So a single Grammy? Like I said, I'd bet that shinedown or sevendust have that accomplishment.
The 15m is curious to me. I'd guess that both RHCP and FOO have WAY more than 15m sold

Radiohead is my final guess in this thread. I'm not a huge fan so I prob wouldn't go but that'd be a good start for the new Varsity guy.

a music industry giant, millions of albums sold, a massive following. It's gotta be, you guessed it:
FRANK STALLONE!

Yes, and the message is cryptic enough that I can't easily google this....dammit.

The show is in October. I'm betting chili peppers or radiohead, but chili peppers at least have one Grammy, right?
Posted on 6/18/12 at 10:52 am to genxtiger
radiohead has 3 grammy awards.
maybe its hootie and the blowfish. cracked rearview is listed as 15x's platinum

15 million for one album really narrows the field.
Springsteen?
15 million for Born In The USA
Album released within the last year
He's had some pretty memorable concerts at the PMAC though. Doc should have heard about them.
