Would todays "youth" (non- hip hop/rap crowd) like this as a pop song if promoted correctly? It has all the elements of "a hit" with a bullet. Catchy hook, ambiguous lyrics, clean sound, great beat etc...

I assume most of them would not even know who wrote it.
