Everyone I knew.

I haven’t come back to update this thread because I don’t know how to put into words what I saw.

any deadhead still on the fence about this just needs to go. Tickets are gettable, there’s no bad seats, and Vegas might be the easiest city to travel to in the country

it’s something you just have to see

Did you see the body of water behind them at one point? It looked so damn real.

How kid-friendly is the experience? We want to go but are considering making it a family trip over a long weekend. My daughter is 12 and loves the videos people have been posting from inside the Sphere. She’s not a big Dead fan, calls it old people hippie music. Fair enough, but I’d like for her to see it live and I figured the visuals will keep her interested.

as kid friendly as a dead show can be, the place is really nice and most of the crowd is older. There will be some shenanigans but not like a festival or amphitheater show

I couldn't get it out of my mind, so I am taking another trip back the first week of August. 08/01/ and 08/02 Guess I dont have to worry about seeing the same show again.

ETA: that is one hell of a setlist compilation

100s if you want a close view of the stage
200s/300s if you want farther from stage but full view of visuals
the stage is really (really) small

I thought the 300’s were the best. The more in the center, the better.

when the tour was announced, my reaction was sort of like "interesting, i'll probably make it to a show if it's cheap/easy".

then, after the residency started, i saw one short video of it on instagram and knew there was zero chance i could miss it.

I'm depressed that it's over.

If any part of you wants to go, do it. you won't regret it.

It's not over pal, the music never stops! They have a run this weekend, and then they're back in August.

Just got back

Holy shite, my expectations were pretty high but didn’t come close to be any disappointment. Just an insane show

The sound is like nothing I’ve experienced. Drums>space was absolutely insane

Pissed I could only do one night

Truly a shame the D&C Sphere shows aren’t broadcast on Nugs. Pretty sure all video production of the Shpere residency shows was shot down by owner James Dolan and MSG Entertainment .

Yep. There is no way that a phone could ever capture what is going on in there. The sensory overload of the satellite, drums and space etc just take this to another level not seen before. Then there's Mayer and the whole band doing their thing. The songs the dead wrote are the magic and will live on forever....
