I have to drive from New Orleans to Plaquemine for a wedding this Saturday at 6:00 p.m. Then reception after at City Club 355 North Blvd.in B.R. Will traffic be bad on the west side of the river going up to Plaquemine between 4-6 p.m.? I have heard as many as 100,000 people may attend the concert. Then we have to drive back to New Orleans leaving about 10 p.m. I-10 south from downtown. This all could be very tricky?

And the difference is people won’t be leaving at half time.

It will be worse than a football game because nobody will be leaving early

Leave after Callin Baton Rouge the first time you have a chance to get out without too much traffic.

Callin Baton Rouge will be the last encore.

You’ll be 3 miles away from Tiger Stadium. I’m guessing the concert will also end at 10:00 so you may be able to beat the traffic jam on I-10 in Baton Rouge . If google maps is red at 10:00, I’d just go north on I-110 and then take Airline south to til Highland Rd.

Just exit sunshine bridge and go La 1 to plaquemine. Should be no problem.
