Bro country's version of Hall and Oates.
Minus the talent.

Dude I couldn’t take it when he sang the song he wrote for when he played the Biden inauguration

Do you mean he played a medley of his hit songs or what?
I remember seeing David Allen Coe at the Texas club years ago do this.
First time I was like wtf but went again thinking it was just that night. Nope second time same thing I said never again.
He also said both times, about 2 years apart, that "It was his last tour"
Dude probably still playing today.

He has more hits then time to sing then all .
I think he has like 40 top 40 songs
He does this because he don’t have Time to fully sing all 40 top songs of his entire career unless the concert is 6 hrs long :
I’ve seen other people do this

Garth does this, but I think it's more for corporate gigs (both times I've seen this it was corporate hires). Like when he's hired for 30-40 minutes and it's a mix of jokes, short stories and pieces of hit songs (and a few full ones).
I think it makes perfect sense in that setting where people aren't really there for a full on concert but they want to hear the good stuff. But I'd be annoyed in a full ticketed concert.

I watched them back in 2003 and it was really good. Those were the prime years.
They aren't even close to that terrible and untalented music of bro country.

I saw him in Nashville on opening night of his 25th anniversary tour in 2015. He played all the #1 hits. All the way through to.
Sorry you had a bad experience, but I guess times have changed.
