I was really into the Lookout/Gilman St bands in the early 90s and really liked GDs early stuff... fun, catchy, pop punk... no they weren't revolutionary by any means but I liked them... Dookie was a solid record that quickly suffered from over exposure to the point I really didn't want to hear them anymore... I sort of lost interest with that whole genre/scene (though I still pull out Screeching Weasel's - My Brain Hurts regularly)..
My hot take.. Warning may be their best record.. I came to it awhile after it was released and its just a great pop record..
