Well she's be playing a singing around here since she was a little kid. She can play and can sing her huge arse off, so yes, she is talented. I don't like the genre she's in, and don't too much care for the music she is putting out. But she is a talented musician.

Lainey was a 6 year overnight success story.
She moved to Nashville years ago and lived in a small travel trailer. She got a songwriting deal with one of the bigger labels before signing with a small label.
When she arrived in Nashville she literally knew one producer. Jerry Cupit (who was also from Baskin). She didn’t have the money that a Taylor Swift had and her family didn’t have the money to buy her way into the Nashville scene.
Things were slim but she gutted it out. There were several times Momma wanted her to come home but she wouldn’t.
I don't necessarily love her voice but it doesn’t turn me off. She’s a solid songwriter with several songs penned for other artists.
