If John Denver ate that ham sandwich, and Cass put gas in the plane, they’d still both be alive today.

Mama Cass was the Lizzo of her day.
Cass Elliot, aka Naomi Cohen, was actually talented and didn't parade aroud in skimpy clothes for all the world to see her obesity.

Cass Elliot did not choke on a ham sandwich. She died of a hereditary heart disease.

She died of heart failure but was found with a ham and chicken sandwich in her hand in bed.
Of note, Keith Moon died in the very same bed about 4 years later.
The apartment belonged to Harry Nilsson.

John Denver was one of the biggest, most popular, music stars of the 1970's and could afford a Lear. He died after he crashed a homebuilt Long EZ aircraft into Monterrey Bay.

I remember that. At least died doing something he love and didn’t crash into the inside of a canyon.

Man, you guys are really showing how little you know about music if you think Lizzo doesn’t have legit vocal or musical talent. She doesn’t rely on auto tune for her vocal range or her natural vibrato. Have a look at her Tiny Desk Concert.
You don’t have to like her “look” or her antics, but the girl can sang.
