My D18 got a new pickguard

Am I wrong or have D-18s gone up in price? Both new and used?
Up there with a D-28 now. Not HD-28.

They've all went up, this is actually a D18 Custom Shop so it has an Adirondack top instead of Sitka but I bought it used for less than a new D28.

Martin had a price hike on pretty much all models back in July. I bought a D-18 at the end of June right before the new pricing took effect. The D-18 and D-28 both were set to go up $300.00.

Beautiful guitar. I like the subtleness of the tortes pattern with that coloring.

Looks like a standard D28 is running about $3200 and a standard D18 is about $2800.
I've only ever bought one new acoustic guitar and it was my first "decent" guitar, a Yamaha FG830.

Thanks, I love it as well.
I've had 6 Martins but never found one that stuck with me until this one.
I had a D28 ambertone at one time but didn't like the sound of it that much.
