Ozzy Osbourne has retired from touring and cancelled all his upcoming shows while he recovers from spinal surgery.
The 74-year-old rocker was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease four years ago and has been battling various health problems in recent years.
He had been due to kick off his European tour in May, originally set for 2019 and then rescheduled three times, but it has now officially been cancelled along with any more dates in the future.

The Paranoid hitmaker discussed his current health while appearing on his own Ozzy’s Boneyard channel on SiriusXM last month, with the star saying of touring: 'It is so f*****g tough because, I mean, I want to be out there.
'I want to be doing it. This f*****g surgery this guy did. F*****g hell, you have no idea.”
'The thing is my head is all right, my creativity is OK, my singing OK but I just can’t f*****g walk much now.”
'I can’t begin to tell you how f*****g frustrating life has become. It is amazing how you go along in life and one stupid thing can screw everything up for a long time. I have never been ill this long in my life.

Yea, I recently saw him attempting to walk and it's sad.
Same thing with Phil Collins.

How he is still alive continues to amaze me.

Was coming here to post this. Sad day. His Twitter post did indicate a hope for a possible dates in the future that limit travel from city to city and country to country. Some folks in the replies even suggested some type of residency which could work for a while I would think. One guy mentioned Hard Rock in Las Vegas. I think that would make good sense if he’s eventually up to it. I know I would start planning a trip to Vegas if he were to do it.
Ozzy’s announcement on twitter
Mainly though I just want the guy to get his health back in order. I’m sure this spine issue has been agonizing for him. Even if he never performs again I hope he can become comfortable so he doesn’t go into a downward spiral of any sort.
Here’s to the Madman!! Get well Ozzy.

Same thing with Phil Collins.
Collins has undergone multiple lumbar surgeries over the years. His most recent surgery before covid resulted in permanent nerve damage which is why he has to ambulate with a cane or scooter. Ironically, he said playing drums over the years resulted in his back issues.

I really regret not seeing Sabbath on the final tour a few years back.

I managed to catch Phil on his last tour, looks like I won't get the chance with Ozzy.
