Rick Astley laps the field in this category. I always thought he was a middle-aged black guy until just a few years ago when "Rick Rolling" was a thing and I finally saw what he looked like. Blew me away. That voice comes out of that nerdy white kid?

I was ABSOLUTELY SHOCKED that Bobby Caldwell was white when I saw him perform "What you won't do for love" on tv after hearing that song dozens of times on the radio for years.
Also, the singer for that one hit wonder band "Lips of an angel" looks NOTHING like his voice sounds.
