Kinda hard for me to separate the Astral Week album into songs, the whole album just flows...

Glad Tidings also..

"Into the Mystic" is my favorite. I also love "Cleaning Windows", "Bright Side of the Road", "Moon Dance", "Domino", "Wild Nights", "Brown-Eyed Girl", ect. He really is one of my biggest musical influences.

Bright Side,Moon Dance, Domino, Wild Nights, and Brown Eyed Girl to me are his songs that people, who are not familiar with his deep cuts, say they like. There are way better songs out there from him.

His Live at Montreux in 1980 has to be one of the best live concerts he did. Along with his Astral Weeks live at the Hollywood Bowl, and It's Too Late To Stop Now from 1974 are in my opinion some of the best stuff he's put out. I've noticed listening to his music that I'm a big fan of his work from the 70's to early 80's.

It's impossible to say just one song is his best. But my choice would be Listen To The Lion.

Naked In The Jungle
Here's one of the funkiest songs I've heard from him. I love that riff on the electric piano

Also, his Jazzfest set in 2010 was really amazing to finally see him perform in person.

My favorite is "Into the Mystic" without question. However, "Caravan" gets the best Van Morrison impersonation out of me after a few drinks.

Such a gorgeous album. I could just lay outside in the grass during a nice spring morning and listen to that album. Probably would achieve nirvana.

The AM Gold album has some insanely good tracks on it for anyone that is interested. It has a early version of Beside You and Madam George.

Faves from album are : The Smile You Smile, Joe Harper Saturday Morning and Its Alright

Its on Spotify. Also as someone said Veedon Fleece is awesome.
