Kewl, just look at any positive you can find to justify it.
We still have really good assets left from that deal, it's just not correct to say we wasted most of it.

Nope, they were able to be acquired due to the expiring salary and trade exception that we received from the Ball S&T.
Ball was a part of the Laker package, therefore that is why CJ and Nance are part of the assets received Laker package.

I’m not unhappy with that.
Don’t act like we didn’t blow it with the rest of it.
We miraculously found a way to get absolutely nothing out of the #4 pick. Nothing. Not a single thing to show for it.
We lost Lonzo for nothing.
We lost Hart for nothing. And don’t tell me we needed his expiring to get CJ. Had we not sign him into a deal that made him easily tradeable, we would have simply signed someone else to an expiring deal to use in that trade.
