If he starts again I wont even be mad at DG, it's on Willie at this point.

Maybe it's my old age, I probably wasn't this lenient when I was younger, but when dudes are likeable and giving 100%, I really can't help but to like them.

Graham fits that criteria. I probably root for him more than anyone on the team because of that.

But at the end of the day, he's just been really bad this year. Hopefully he can right the ship and be a meaningful player for the Pels at some point.

You can say the same about Temple.

Temple is fine(ish) because he's on a manageable, short term contract.

Graham still has another 2 and a bit years at 12mil a year (4th year 2.8mil guaranteed).

That's in no way an easily moveable contract, unless you're looking for ballast in a superstar trade. And those are rare

It's like Asik and Solo all over again

True but I view Temple more so at the end of his career, and I definitely don't expect positive play out of him for any sustained period with the Pels ever again.

I do expect that with Graham because he's done it before as recently as the last 2 seasons and isn't older like Temple.

Fair enough.

He'll probably (maybe) do enough to justify his contract when BI and Zion are back

But FFS Willie, give Alvarado all his minutes right now

That doesn't make it any less true.

Now, all we need is a little Energon and a lot of luck.

I’ve been wanting to keep pointing this out, but DG off the bench has been a completely solid player: 40% from the field, almost 39% from three on high volume, 9ppg, 3ast, 3rebs.

If he was playing off the bench all year and had those occasional big games, with those bench averages, I don’t think any of us would be hating on him.

He was just recruited for a role he’s really not suited for, but as a bench gunner, he’s a nice weapon to have there

And as I finish typing they announce DG starting again…frick

Come on Willie, this is Temple redux! It’s obvious to everyone you are asking him to fill too big of shoes

This might be a rare time he won’t get exposed with the Bulls going super small
