@WojVerticalNBA 38s39 seconds ago If Kris Dunn's gone at No. 5, Minnesota's Tom Thibodeau has Oklahoma's Buddy Hield next up on Wolves' board, sources tell @TheVertical.

Yeah, I am feeling very confident that Murray will be the pick. Which will make me incredibly happy (third on my board), but it seems like many are not sold.

Per Woj, T'wolves have Hield just behind Dunn on their draft board.
ETA: sounds like Dunn is for sure their main guy, as many of us suspected.
Damn, that honestly ruins my night a lot.
I was really hoping they would of preferred Murray because of his potential versatility and possible PG future.
Man...This sucks.

So we have to hope that the Suns don't take Murray or Hield basically.
Simmons
Ingram
Dunn
???Bender? Chriss? Brown? Hield?
Hield
Us: Murray, Brown, Bender, Chriss
Simmons
Ingram
Dunn

If Chriss is still available just take him screw it

I'm just kind of lukewarm, but I like him a LOT more than I like Brown.
I'd be pretty happy given the circumstances.

I honestly like all three of them. I recently convinced myself that I liked Hield more, because I felt like he would be the pick, but I can always convince myself that Murray is better if he ends up as the pick

I guess heres to hoping Bender falls and we surprise everyone and take him.

Even if the Suns trade one of Bledsoe/Knight, they still would have 2 starting guards with the way Booker played. I don't see why they'd draft a guard to be a backup.

If all three guards are gone, does Dell take Brown? I doubt it. He'll deal because that's what he does.

Agreed, the only time that I've seen a guard mocked there was Dunn, and none of us are expecting Dunn to be available at 4.

That the Suns won't draft Murray or Hield.

I think it was one of the highlight video's Gyno posted a few days ago where someone was breaking down his defensive problems and a lot of his bad defense seemed to stem from bad technique. Just changing his stance will make him more passable for instance.

Dunn or Murray and I will be ecstatic. Buddy works too though!

Posted on 6/23/16 at 4:38 pm to TigerinATL
Well Erman could fix that I guess...I just have the strange feeling that the only player we would have kept is Dunn...I smell trade

How him and Jrue would work:
On defense, Jrue covers the better/faster backcourt player.
On offense, they share the playmaking duties. Both can be very good on the ball and have to be respected off the ball. This should open up all kinds of space for AD.
No doubt this could mean an elite offense once Murray hits his stride. Yes, defense will be an issue, but if you have a good defensive SF, then 2 of your 3 perimeter defenders will be really good. You can put Murray on the other teams worst perimeter guy. How many teams have a 1, 2, and 3 who can score efficently off the dribble?
You can hide one average/bad defender. Two is an issue. Draft Murray and you MUST get a good to great defensive SF. Or hope Q-Pon comes back 100%
