I feel the same. He's going to hire someone to kick him directly in the knee next.

He is definitely choosing his words to avoid calling him out directly, but I think it is pretty clear that he's fed up with the shite show.

How many threads were started stating "Eric Gordon is a boss and will start every game for 4 years"? Seriously, most of the "optimism" was just not acting like someone shot our dogs because he MIGHT not play. He's out. It sucks. My life goes on.

we are in agreement

anyone starting to think that he just really doesnt like it here and doesnt want to play for us.

That makes no sense. If you want to get out of town you throw a hissyfit, not pretend to be permanently injured so you have zero trade value. I'm thinking it's something completely unstructural, like a food allergy that increases inflammation in his body which combined with an obviously low tolerance for pain leads to this.

I'm dead serious, Fibromyalgia makes the most sense and it can be tied to diet. He just needs to get off carbs.

quote:

Fibromyalgia, classified as a syndrome rather than a disease, includes a collection of signs, symptoms and associated medical conditions that occur together without any apparent cause. Patients with fibromyalgia experience chronic and widespread pain with tender joints, sleep impairments, fatigue and psychological symptoms. While the exact cause of fibromyalgia remains unknown, research published in the "British Medical Journal" suggests an association between gluten intolerance and the onset of rheumatic diseases like fibromyalgia

who would take him and what could you get at this point????

Danny Granger is also out indefinitely.
There have been rumors in the past about a 1-1 deal, however both signed long-term deals after the rumors.
Perhaps Granger, (arguably the brightest and classiest player in the league) would make a return home to New Orleans in an attempt to help out his hometown both on the court and off?
He is 29 years old though, but I would still fap to that

There's no money wasted, wasn't your money to be wasted. I think they wasted letting bitches such as yourself get tickets and/or get in the building.

I agree. If he wanted out, acting injured would be a terrible way to make it happen as his value drops significantly. I just don't see any good reason for him to make it up.

People act like you can just play through knee pain. This is basketball, the knee is vital. If the MRI is clear, then that's good news. Let the dude rest it. People say the next Brandon Roy.. well, Roy had a degenerative knee condition.

And Fletcher Mackel is a douche. Whether he realizes it or nott, he is going to turn every clueless tard against Gordon before he even plays a game. It's a shame his stupid drivel reaches such a mass audience.

If there is anyone to blame, it's our FO for giving the dude a contract and pushing for him to stay in NOLA. At the same time, you can't judge a 4 year contract on the 1st game of the 1st year. But hey, let's overreact. Gordon will start tearing it up and Im sure everyone will change their tune.

@FletcherMackel: Will EG10 be on bench tonight, or excused absence? Welcome to NBA Tom Benson > guy making $14.8 mil per sitting at home playing video games

I fricking KNEW that there had to be more than just "soreness" to hold him out of the entire preseason. There is an issue here that needs to be fixed immediately. He made a huge issue over getting a couple extra millions, so he better fricking earn it. Either his knee is completely fricked or we have the worst medical staff in the NBA if they couldn't find a way to get him completely healthy for tonight. Hopefully he doesn't miss more than a handful of games at the start of the season. I don't want to freak out yet since it's just one game so far out of 82, but something is not right about this situation.
