When u apologize do u always mean it? People can act...not saying if he is or isn't real..but don't act like people can't fake...if anything we think he can fake

Faking is not the right word. I think he is a coward who refuses to play through pain

I did not. Will it change my thoughts?

So having a differing point of view means defending him at all costs? I'll criticize him when it's deserved, but I'm not calling him out over an injury that he didn't choose to inflict upon himself. If it was up to Gordon's choice he would be completely healthy and playing (probably for Phoenix, though ).

I think that's just part of him being a bad speaker.

What? I have some anxiety and don't like speaking in front of a crowd but if someone asks me a point blank question, I can give a clear answer. If my boss asks me if a project went wrong, I can't say "sorta."

Champ may come dangerously close, but no one else is "defending the player at all costs".

This is worthy of a cover to cover read if I do say so myself

I think it can. He sounds sincere with what he is saying. I honestly think that the video shows that he's frustrated about his knee issues and wants to go out there and help win games. He even acknowledges that he knows it's frustrating for the fans.

I will say for the record that I truly hope that this guy is legit hurt and its something he can recover quickly from.

I can explain it that way because I myself am a horrible public speaker. I get very nervous when a lot of attention is on me and I will throw in "sorta" and "kinda" when I don't really mean it. It's just a mental thing that you can't really overcome if it's part of your personality.

I might have to watch it later then.

I would also like to point out how proud I am of this board.

300+ responses in a few hours, 1 thread about it, no gifs and dumb shite.

Bing bang boom. Gordon's own comments about his heart being in Phoenix makes it very hard for me NOT to think he'd play through the pain if he were suiting up for the Suns.

You should watch the video, too, then. None of his responses seem forced or premeditated. He legitimately seems frustrated about his injury and wants the fans and media to understand that he wants to play.

What did he mean by "structural damage"?

Structure is basically any component in the knee such as ACL, MCL, knee cap, the bones. Seem like what they are saying is, it's a bruise, soreness and that's about it. Nothing is torn or broken and it should mean that there are no pieces of anything floating around causing pain

I don't think he'd play through the same pain he's in now if he were in Phoenix, but at the same time I think their medical staff is much more competent than ours and would be able to get him healthier much faster.

I think 99% of players would either not consider what he's going through "pain" or just play through the pain. But I don't think EG would, regardless of where he is.

On a side note, Jarrell Martin committed to LSU a short time ago. Basketball in Louisiana seems to be taking a serious upturn.

Monty still frosty about the situation.

quote:

Hornets Coach Monty Williams said Wednesday he could offer no additional information on Gordon's health or a timeframe for his return.

"Right now he's in the mode of rehabbing and trying to get his knee where he feels comfortable," Williams said. "He's working with our medical staff, which I think is phenomenal. They've worked on my knee and even though I can't play, I feel really good.

"But it's one of those situations that I don't have a lot of information because I only get enough to know that he's not playing. That's pretty much all I want most days. Obviously, there's something he's not comfortable with and the doctors may feel the same way. So he's probably going to see a number of doctors to make sure that there's nothing that's going to cause him further damage."
